Strategically located in the heart of Muscat, opposite Al Qurum Natural Park, White Smile Dental Specialty began its journey in May 2010, offering comprehensive dental care to the people of Oman. Our clinic provides a wide range of general and specialized services, including orthodontics with advanced Invisalign technology, endodontics, laser dentistry, and more.
The clinic is led by Dr. Hafsa Banu Abid, Managing Director and Senior Dental Practitioner, who has been a resident of Oman since childhood. A graduate of Yenepoya Dental College, India (Class of 2003), Dr. Hafsa brings over 22 years of experience in general and aesthetic dentistry. In 2010, she took a visionary step in founding White Smile Dental Specialty, driven by a commitment to offering high-quality dental solutions in a hygienic, patient-friendly environment.
Dr. Hafsa firmly believes that a beautiful smile can enhance one’s personality and build lasting confidence. She has consistently updated her expertise through participation in numerous dental workshops, including inhalation sedation, rotary endodontics, implantology, and aesthetic procedures. She is also certified in Lumineers and Cerinate Smile Design. Dr. Hafsa actively promotes dental awareness, organizing oral health check-ups and educational sessions in schools across Muscat.
One of the clinic’s key strengths is its specialist orthodontist, Prof. Dr. Sandeep Shetty, Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Yenepoya University, Mangalore, India. With 26 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sandeep is a highly respected member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and Indian Dental Association, and serves as an adjunct professor at the Adam’s School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina.
Dr. Sandeep has delivered numerous lectures, trained dental professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and published research in prestigious international journals such as the Latin American Journal of Orthodontics and the World Journal of Orthodontics. His expertise spans complex orthodontic cases, including cleft surgeries, non-surgical orthodontic interventions, and cutting-edge Invisalign treatments.
