In the world of entrepreneurship, few journeys are as inspiring as that of Mr. Ibrahim Moosa Al Lawati, a young and dynamic Omani entrepreneur. As the co-owner of Elegance Barber, Mr. Ibrahim’s story is one of vision, resilience, and a keen sense of customer care. His journey began not as a businessman, but as a customer, long before he even dreamed of owning the shop himself.
Elegance Barber was established in 1999 at Jawaharat A’Shati Mall, becoming one of the first high-end barber shops in the region. Over the years, the shop became a staple for many, but as time passed, Mr. Ibrahim and his brother realized that the shop needed a new direction. This led to their decision to purchase Elegance Barber in 2016 and give it a fresh life. They expanded the brand in 2018 by opening a second branch in Al Muna, and in 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, they opened a third branch in Al Muzn Mall.
Mr. Ibrahim’s vision for Elegance Barber is simple yet impactful. Rather than offering a wide array of services, the shop specializes in hair styling, with a limited but high-quality menu for facial, manicure, and pedicure services. This focus allows them to excel in their craft, ensuring that every customer receives the best service possible.
For Mr. Ibrahim, success isn’t defined by revenue alone but by the ability to weather the ups and downs of the economy. “Surviving all the challenges is in itself a success,” he says. The core of Elegance Barber’s success lies in its unwavering focus on customer relationships. “To us, it’s about creating an experience. Just like a regular coffee shop knows how to serve your coffee just the way you like it, we aim to deliver the exact style your hair and beard needs – every single time, without you having to remind us.”
For aspiring entrepreneurs, Mr. Ibrahim offers valuable advice: “Good business requires time, capital, and, most importantly, lots of patience.” His journey reflects the essence of putting in the hard work, staying true to your vision, and building long-term relationships with customers.
Elegance Barber is not just a business; it’s a story of perseverance, dedication, and a deep understanding of the customer experience. Mr. Ibrahim Moosa Al Lawati has truly put his story to work, and in doing so, he has built a lasting legacy.
